As long as I've been watching,
I've seen many sites come and many sites go. Rare are those that stay;
even rarer are those that stay active. Below, you will find
the paths that have gone away; may they rest in our memories...
...unless they come back from
the dead, of course! If you come across any of these sites during your
travels across the WorldWide, submit the updated address to me!
Perhaps relics of some of
these sunken sites may be found here...

Konami
Japan's Official CastleVania Site
http://www.konami.co.jp/kcek/commod/dracula/index.html
Looking sweet in a language I have little understanding of, but browse
through and check the artwork, character sprites, and Timeline to end
ALL timelines! I still refuse to believe Sonia's the first, even if
1450 is all up in my face before I see Trevor in stage 1 below 1476...
The

Lyndon Moore of Nintendo, does it, and very well. Check out the music

The
Castlevania Webring
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Stadium/6889/ring.html
COMMENTARY: (scoff!) What lies within? How NOT to do a CastleVania site?
How TO? Like I know. Hope you've read THIS!
(And this is when I realize the difference between DCTP and most every
other CV site there ever was or yet to be... Just look at DCTP. Just
look. Now look at everyone else. In numerous cases, it's just plainly
unacceptable. Believe it or believe it.) Warning: tragedy, mystery,
sucky sites, and the word 'kewl'' all await. If I were to institute
a web-rin...web-...webring, I'd call it the Slogra Trident, and it'd
link Slogra-featuring CV sites, and I DONT mean Slogra-LV-200-Demon-with-an-Enchanted-Spear-Drop-Item-None
sites... Talkin' DCTP, Slogra's Shrine, Castle Bathroom, etc. But don't
mind. It'll always be my time to shine brightest from the most obscure
place. PB'YATCH!

The
CastleVania Pages
http://members.nbci.com/gamingcity/cv/
This site looks really, really plain. That's why I like it. The CastleVania
Pages invokes the feeling of the CastleVania WorldWide of a time gone
by. A nice site which excels in its content. Until I read about it there,
I had no idea it was Symphony of the Night which was being made for
the Game.com...heh heh heh... [Don't get me started on that ambitious
little WENCH the Game.com... I'm really glad it talked alot of junk
on the Game Boy. That made its death the ever more sweeter.]

Ayami Kojima, who is responsible for Symphony of the Night's outstanding
gothic manga look, is lending (his/her?) talent to the character designing
of Shiman Berumondo and Dorakyura in this PlayStation remix of Akumajou
Dorakyura X68k! Here's Konami of Japan's official site. Not much of
a need for Japanese language plug-ins, most of the site's in GIF format.
VERY pretty. GOOD GOD, Simon and Drac! Where do you dudes

I can't beleive I haven't ever linked to this site (as well as surprised

good, and available in Italian and English! CastleVania X was even on
top of that CircleVania news before anyone else!
CastleVania

http://www.geocities.com/castlevania_series/Castlevania.html
Yowzaz! Meowaz has a CastleVania hacking style all his own, and makes
some quite tasteful hacks, if I do say so. At least you can actually

if you know what I mean. Try out all of his very eerie-looking project
on his HaxleVania page.
The

Akumajo Dracula fan art. They range in game from Dracula X and X68000,
to Legend of Cornell and more. Get ready to 'Save Image As' until you're
on the way to Comp USA for a new mouse. Better get a Wacom tablet instead.
;) To access the excellent arts, simply hit the 9th link on that there
list, choose either option, and away you go! Be sure to check out the
rest of Flight Blue, as well. You might be surprised at what you may
find. Bless Japanese CastleVania fandom...

http://www2.tkcity.net/~draken/dhp/
As it was written...if DCTP ever came in Japanese, THIS site would be
it!!! This is definitely my favorite of the Japanese sites! You'll notice
from the getgo that this site has the same amount of quality content
offerings as DCTP. The convincing screensnaps of Trevor fighting the
Zapf Bat or Paula Abghoul and Fred Askare are excellent. Niiiiiice graphic
presentations abound here, kinfolk! Do yourself a favor and be sure
to explore every section on this site, as it's loaded with various Dracula
surprises. Utterly..and completely...bada$$, if you'll pardon my cash.

Dungeon
http://webs.demasiado.com/interaccine/mega/archive/2.htm
o_o Well, then... it seems to be The CastleVania Dungeon...translated
into Spanish somehow. The thing I don't like about it is how
I was never informed of my Boss descriptions being translated...however,
most of the coding seems to have been maintianed, most importantly the
e-mail addy credit on the Skull Knight portrait... Well, if you ever
wanted to know about Slogra...in SPANISH...

Sailor Moon....Excessive use of wild takes makes this show funny. Terrible
explanation. Anyway, the latter series (airs on/aired on) November 30,

Utatane
Hiroyuki Works Page
http://www.swb.de/~zahara/uta/uta.html
Utatane Hiroyuki. I'll lay it down, the main reason why I picked up
both Erotic Excentric drama CDs in Chinatown was because of the watercolor
illustrations on the covers. Only recently have I learned that 'Utatane
Hiroyuki', written in Japanese Hiragana and has popped up on my AX back
issues and elsewhere, is an artist! I originally thought Utatane Hiroyuki
to be a sort of Japanese idiom for something. Hiroyuki's got a way with
watercolor, and is skilled at showing softness of flesh. The digital
coloring of his humble and very nice silver-haired, glasses-wearing,
dark lavender uniform-wearing maid-type character (Sara from the game
Innocent Tears) is also a good example of his skills. She's got red
shoes on, too. She rocks! Hiroyuki has also done art for Samurai Spirits
and draws the manga Lythtis running in Japan's monthly Daioh manga digest.
You can identify a Hiroyuki work by eyelash details, hair rendering,
and sometimes chin shape, as well as the sort of trim-plumpness of his
female characters. He mostly does grown-up type stuff, so new CastleVania
fans, I'd blindly trust that you'd get permission from the higher-ups
before going here. One of the cool things about being a Fine Arts major
is people take you seriously even though you look at all those pretty
pictures of girls. Yet, how else are you going to map out body structures
without SEEING the body?! As a last note, Utatane Hiroyuki seems to
have it MADE. He's married to another professional, mostly hentai, artist,
and her artwork is just as great. I doubt there are many complaints
beneath their roof!

Bus
Stop Summer Destiny
http://www.fujitv.co.jp/busstop/
Sorry guys, but I just HAD to link this Japanese drama which aired on
the FCI Japanese broadcasts, the storyline of which is simple to understand;
a humble bus driver dreams of finding the girl of his dreams along the
route. Enters the cute young business lady whose car breaks down, and
she manages to chase down his passing bus. Relations and complications
arise between the two, both from different family backgrounds. Throw
in some short commercials in Japanese, and you've got something with
an edge over Days of Our Lives. For one thing, Bus Stop isn't restrained
to sound stages. Sorry, Days of Our Lives. Fuji-te-re-bigin! (By the
by, there's an idiom for you. In Japan, 'terebi' is equivalent to 'TV',
Fujisankei Company sticks in a converted 'begin', and there you go!)
