SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT

Okay. Here's my attempt to write up a rocking Symphony.

Christmas Eve. Past 12:00AM, it's technically Christmas day. My mother and I arrive home from the outside world of Manhattan. Seeing that it's about 1:00AM, we proceed to shred our gifts, just as we do late at night for the past.....two years. Mom gets jewelry and a little stuffed animal I got her. I got-PLAYSTATION! YEEAAAH!!!!!

I also got some Jurassic Park stuff, the two main T-Rexes, and a cool-looking Mercedes from the movie, as well as that thar accordian bus from the movie! All these will come in handily in my next Jurassic Park movie, "Jurrasic Junk 8: ID4 Civil War!" See Puerto Rico section for more details on past movies.

In the way of PlayStation games, CASTLEVANIA: SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT! BWEEEE! HAPPY DAYS! I also get Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft (who the heck CAN star in a TR game?!)! I saved some of the other gifts for the following morning, which would be in a few hours....

I go to my room. Carefully, I open the RED PlayStation box, but a PlayStation box nonetheless. AAH! The controller! It is wrappped in blue plastic. I extracate the control from its plastic prison. Oooh! The way the controller cord was folded like that! It was new! Ditto the A/V cables I plugged into my VCR and the plug cable. I hook up the PlayStation for the VERY FIRST TIME. I need no instructions; my friend Al came to the house before with his PS. I open up the CD door. What is the first game I will play?

I carefully open the CD casing of CastleVania Symphony of the Night! The CastleVania Dungeon and Darkhugh's Den sites would be needed now more than ever! I place the CD, batten down the hatch, and turn it on. Sony Computer Entertainment. PlayStation. Rocks. Konami! CastleVania Symphony of the Night. Press Start. I honor Konami's request. Damage! I forgot to ask Santa for a memory card! No matter.

Journey back to 1792 and the Transylvanian Countryside of Romania. The CastleVania can be seen in the distance. I fly towards and around it.

FINAL STAGE: Bloodlines. WOAH! THIS MUSIC ROCKS! I'm RICHTER! Woo YAW! Wow! Did you see that?! The whip goes limp after snapping! Just like Super CastleVania IV! Game Pro says look for a secret switch at the top of the stairs! Sailormoon fans! It's the Moon Rod! Must be Sailor Sypha's! Sunglasses? Power of Sire? Dracula is the Sire of this castle. It's a Drac icon, this Power of Sire. Okay. Yes! What I've been waiting for, Count Dracula! I LOVE THIS GAME!

"DIE MONSTER! YOU DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD!" HOLY SHNITT! It talked! CastleVania talked! When was the last time that happened?! "It was not by my hand that I am once again given flesh. I was brought here by HUMANS who wish to pay me tribute!" Hey! This reads familiar! I think I saw that at the Dungeon! "TRIBUTE! You steal men's souls and make them your slaves!" "Perhaps the same can be said of all religions..." Ooooh....that's a dis.. "But enough talk.." Hey, I think Drac made a funny! They never 'talked' before! "...have at you!" LET'S ROCK! Woah! They remixed the Dracula X battle theme! What great effects! ITEM CRASH, Richter! Let's see what happens! Will ya say 'Aaaaaaaaagh'?! "HOLY CROSS!" W O A H ! ! I've died and gone to PS heaven! Look at this! The crosses! The many crosses! Wheeeee! Yah! Eat this! Hah! "Here's true power!" What is, those black electro balls? Nice try Drac...NOT! "OW! OW! You're time's over! Grant ME POWER!" Drac just turned into his CV 1 form! The room disappeared! What the? Look at this! A swirling vortex of the darned souls! No! I'm out of energy! I will surely perish! Wait....Maria? The first to ever be in my cool character section? "Richter! Heighten your strength!" What's she doing? The crystals? Eh? Woah, nice! Dragon power! Tiger power! Birdie power! All my energy's back! Yeah! Take this, wackula! "No! This can not be! AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaagh...." LOSER!
