(As told by Lisker) First, there was a world of gamers.........who were lost and confused.........who..................alright this intro sucks. The truth is, Konami was a game company..................they wanted MONEY, like all people do..............So they made games................for example, Haunted Castle:This was the cornerstone. The graphics were okay, the music was okay, the fun factor was okay........yet gamers still jumped out of windows after their first visit to the arcade. Due to this game's popularity, two games were released Castlevania:This was for a Japanese computer. Chances are you don't have it, so I see no point in informing you about this game. Moving on........ Castlevania:This was for nintendo. It was a very challenging game, though not as difficult as it's prequel. This game became IMMENSELY popular........though it held ONE SECRET......what happens when you beat the game on hard mode? Several lives were lost in an attempt to discover the truth, until one person by the name of ELMO beat it......and discovered the game just took you back to the title screen......people weren't happy, especially the families of people who had died trying to find the truth. Riots initiated, until a sequel was released...... Castlevania 2:This game was different in the sense that it was more explorative........gamers didn't like change.....they prefered to play the same dull repetitive thing over and over....so fights broke out.......and more riots..........then once the fights and riots got old, people actually PLAYED the game........and they liked it.......so they released Castlevania 3:This was considered one of the best of the castlevania series.......because you could play as three other players........gamers have always been fascinated by playing more than one sprite in the same game.........which probably lead to it's success.........and Konami thus created a game boy Castlevania game Castlevania Adventure:PEOPLE HATED THIS GAME. That's all there is to it. It was too slow, the graphics were crappy, and it was too "challenging"(Babies)......Poor Chris......having to take that kind of criticism.....later, a leap was made to the Super NES by Super Castlevania 4:When this game came out, it immediately attracted gamers, who were mesmerized by it's beautiful graphics.....though what REALLY made it a hit was the introduction of a now well-known and still very popular character:Slogra! Whenever Slogra would walk by, a person would say "It's THE MAN!!!", and Slogra would be like, "Whassup, B!tch?", and they'd be like "Not much, sir....." and Slogra was all, "Thass right, B!tch, now go make me a sandwich!"......and they'd go make him a sandwich....THAT, or they'd be impaled by that cute little spear he always carries ^_^...Anyway, due to the U.S. popularity of the Sega Genesis, Konami released Castlevania Bloodlines:This is the
most overlooked game in the Castlevania series. The only ones to play
this game were Castlevania II:This was an improvement among hand-held games. It was difficult to some gamers, yet still fun, and offered a Megaman-like kind of gameplay (You choose what level to play ^_^)......CLEARLY, this is where Christopher's fame started.......after this game, Konami released Castlevania Rondo of Blood:Never played this game, but heard it was popular........though it was for some kind of computer, so let's just continue to it's less successful remake....... Castlevania X:This game was considered GOOD, but not GREAT by gamers who had been spoiled by all their Super 4s and Rondo of Bloods......this game was GOOD ^_^ .....let's leave it at that...... Castlevania Symphony of the Night:This is undoubtably the most critically-acclaimed of all Castlevania games (In fact, it's message board is the only place where you'll find Yingirl), due most likely to two features, 1)Exploration-A Metroid-like style of play offered gamers a very enjoyable adventure and allowed them to take more then one path 2)Secrets-This game is packed with it. TONS of them, which led to a hugeamount of replay value Castlevania Legends:This game attracted
either gender of gamers because: Castlevania 64:This game was 3-D (Believe me, it took me forever to realize that) It had several new ways of tacking on the same old situations, though the gamers (who like repetitive $h!t) were offended by this strange "3-D aspect, and thus alienated the game(after more rioting and protest again) until Konami made Castlevania Legacy of Darkness:This
game was believed to be a remake of Castlevania 64 in the eyes of many
gamers, but was in fact a great improvement and in many ways a new game
altogether..........but the gamers wouldn't have it.......... Castlevania Resurrection:This game
may or may not be coming out, but it's another 3-D Castlevania game(and
you thought they were through) which is featuring Victor, a self-proclaimed
tough guy.......if the game doesn't come out, this guy's damned for
eternity. -Liskey |
