This animated banner tells the story of CastleVania II: Belmont's Revenge, all-time favorite game of the site founder, Scott Helfrich.

In the game, Christopher Belmont journeys through the castles to find his son, who had been posessed by Dracula's spirit.

On the banner, we see the hero about to approach the final castle, we see the lights dim as the castle bosses are defeated, the castle falls in its death, and finally Christopher reunites with his son, Soleiyu.

All this happens over the course of a night. Almost like time-lapse photography, isn't it...?
